Hello everyone, first time in this forum. I just got a 1983 Chevy Berlineta Camaro with the Multi-Port 2.8 V6. It's got a digital dash. The alt,oil,temp, check engine, the lights all work. But I have no tach or speedo. Any suggestions on what to check for or what I might need to replace? Thanks in advance for any help.

 

hate to tell you this, but the 83's didnt come with that dash, or a MPFI, from 82 to 85(?) they were ALL Carbed, 84 was the first year of the that dash... I did Extentisve research on what years came with that dash, Berly wise. So you have atleast an 84... whats your vin #?

 

My bad just looked at the title it is an 85

 

buy a factory service manual.. It helps ALOT, last time i checked it was like 75 dollars from Helms (Helms.com) i believe.

 

85 is the first year of MPFI.
