Auto.trans. reverse problem

Auto.trans. reverse problem

Hi everyone I have a problem with my reverse...sometimes it works fine and than suddenly i have to accelerate to make possible the reverse TT;...what do you recommend guys??? Do i need to change the trans. or there's any solution??? I really appreciate any advice regard this issue...thanks a lot.

Did you try checking the fluid level? just to be sure.

Sounds like the seals are leaking. You can buy a can of transmission seal rejuvinator (re-labeled brake fluid) to swell the seals for a temporary fix. Sometimes it last awhile. Most likely time for a teardown.

tear it down before you blow something and then have to replace the whole tranny

Thank you ScottieB...I took your advice ^^; today...perhaps its gonna cost around $300 usd...one more thing do you have any advice to pass the smoke check? i have problem on low rpm TT...any tip will be appriciated...thanks
