I can't win for losing
First off HAPPY HOLIDAYS to everyone. Now back to business. I go out to take the camaro for a spin today and it fires up on the money. Let it get nice and warm and drop it in reverse and nothing. So I throw it in first and still the same thing. Gears switch fine but its just not engaging. Now I'm thinking either release bearing or the slave cylinder. So I jack the car up and check the slave cylinder and its barely moving so thats going to be my first course of action. If that fails I have the new clutch from the 2.8 I rebuilt and I'll throw that in. I should have done that from jump b4 I threw the 3.4 in but the guy said the clutch was new on there.
Man I just wanna drive my car for a month straight and I'll be happy. Since I've had it for 1 1/2 years and I may have drove it a total of 2 months. As we all say happy hunting to find the issue and wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
All I want for Christmas is my camaro to run right. LOL

Well being that the engine had set for a while b4 I brought it my guess is the clutch froze up. Pulled the tranny and used the new clutch I brought for the 2.8. I wasn't able to finish it up but I will get it done 1st thing next weekend since by the time I get off from work its dark outside. ( Man I can't wait to buy a house with a garage.)
If I wasn't so hard headed I would have changed it like my dad said to b4 I put the engine and tranny in the car. Anyway I should be rollin again next weekend. Here are some pics of the 3.4 in the car with the 2.8 intake setup.

OK! I must have had a brain fart moment but the release bearing was in backwards. All in all I changed the flywheel, and clutch anyway. Now all is new and riding like a dream again. Next to the muffler shop for a new setup.
