This build is going into my '92 s10 2wd with a 5speed, 4.56 rear, and 30" tires and a 1" front lift...
it will be built in two stages-
Stage I
2.8 rebuild with total seal gapless rings, speed pro flat tops with valve reliefs, melling MTC-5 cam, full 2.5" exhaust dumped on passenger side, electric fan, no power steering, no air pump, no AC
Stage II swap to gen III heads and intake from 3400/3100 with a port/polish job and new valve springs and swap to DIS ignition also a polished intake- just becuase I like the shiney stuff.
basically it'll be built simmilarly to a large motorcycle engine with enough gearing to keep it above 2500 rpm's
I know I would get more torque by swapping to a 3.1L crank, but how many people drive a RWD SEFI 2.8L...
