found another converter for u automatic guys

http://www.tciauto.com/Products/Conv...plications.asp
scrool down till the chevy part, the one listed for the chevy v6 s10/s15 27 spline 10 inch converter with .825 pilot fits the 60* auto trans and offers a 3000-3600 stall speed
part number 243200
i myself just bought one and will deff post up when i install it,though on my motor the tech at tc1 told me i should see just over 4k stall speed sub 1.7 60ft times and low 11 second 1/4 miles times here i come !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW! You're going to shave off almost a whole second, just with the converter?

im hoping to,the new converter will allow me to make full boost off the line, instead of a measly 3-5 psi.
with my old converter i would build a lil bit of boost, but since the motor wouldnt rev high enough on the line,as soon as i launched i would lose all boost, and it wouldnt kick back in till further down track 60-100ft ish
i got the converter for 160 shipped slightly used from somone on another board,

heres another heads up
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
much cheaper then from tci directly, though its just an off the shelf converter,if u call up tci directly the price is 550$ it may be more but they will build the converter to suit ur mods.
btw the site lists the price over 700$'s
