Lowering V6 rear

I am looking into lowering just the rear of my car just to get a leveled look.I checked the other posts in the suspension area ,but it seems most are of the v8 model.I ant really looking to spend a lot on springs ,since the car is just mainly a commuter.I installed some new rubber on the rear to fill in the wheelwell and now its a little higher then stock.Has anyone lowered their v6 ,and if so what brand spring did you use?.I just want to do the rear?I would also like to know what the spring rate is on the stock rear springs?..are they the same as the v8 model?.

an inexpesive way would be to use compressors.

another way is to remove teh upper spring inserts & use some garden hose over the spring to keep it from squeeking/rubbing.

for the budget minded person, of course

try a search in the v6 forum and youll find what everyone thinks. ive got dropzones. and im wondering why you would only replace the rears? if the front sits lower than the rear, maybe youve got some stuff wearing out. id do all 4 if you get lowering springs, and youll need new shocks and struts. i dropped mine for under $250

Actually,I installed 245/60 's on the rear and kept the 215's on the front which the rears are a bit taller thats why I want to lower just the rear..

This easy to do option is a better suggestion than cutting the coils.
