Hey all , a couple of weeks ago i finally bought some K&N filters and put them in, but in addition to that i removed the ...uh , i dont know the name for those plastic deflector things....and then drilled a whole mess of holes where the filters sit....i'm pretty sure i read to do this on here somewhere , but yeah...did i do this correct or just F everything up.

if youve got the dual snorkel setup, you did it right. you can actually go a step further like i did. i cut the bottoms right off the boxes, lol. but no, you didnt hurt a thing.
