Unknown reason for code 42

I was doing a lil work on my car today and reset my computer to clear a few previous codes (24,44) . When I drove the car for a few minutes and checked the codes again I recieved a code 42. The car starts and runs fine so the only thing I can think of is a bad ECM. I do have a spare ECM that I got from the junk yard but would like another opinion before I do the swap. I don't think there is anything worng with the ingnition module so I will recheck for any electrical shorts but nothing is wrong that I know of.

Thanks in advance!
