gasket recommendations

I have had pacesetters for a few months now and made the mistake of using their gaskets. After a few months of the gaskets being cooked I finally got around to putting fel-pro's in and they still leak. The headers are tight but still leaks. Is there anyone else that makes gaskets?

Re: gasket recommendations

My pacesetters went two days after i installed the headers! I then installed the felpro gaskets they lasted a while, but ultimately they both blew out (not at the same time). So then i installed new felpro's with a lot of high temp rtv gasket stuff. Haven't had a blow out or leak since. My friends camaro had the same problem, he went through 3 sets before we fixed them. He ended up doubling the gaskets on both sides, both covered in high temp rtv, and he also cut a relief in the header flange.

Re: gasket recommendations

Where can I buy those. Looked online and the site for those gaskets didn't give anything for buying them.

Re: gasket recommendations

http://www.victorreinz.com/

victor reinz are awesome gaskets by the same people who make Dana and Spicer products.

A lot of independent parts houses get those. Some Carquest and AllPro stores can get them as well.

Summit and Jeg's can help you, too.
