Rearend question

I was just wondering how to tell what size rear end my camaro has. All I know is that it's the stock open rear with 3.42:1 ratio.

Edit: I forgot, my car's an '89 v6 auto.

Re: Rearend question

if its a stock rear end with an auto, it should have 3.23s, unless theyve been changed.

Re: Rearend question

According to the tech data on this site, firstfirebird is correct. The '89 v6 auto had 3.42's and the '90-'92's autos had 3.23's/
