High idle once I reach normal running temp.
I know there's been alot of stuff posted about high idles, even stuff by me. Well now my idle is normal for a while, but once I reach my normal operating temp my idle sits around 2000. I've replaced...
TPS
IAC
All new vaccuum hoses.
EGR Solenoid
Cleaned and lubed throttle return springs and all that stuff.
I've heard someone say once that a bad coolant temp sensor can cause a weird idle, and seeing as it does seem to be a problem connected to my temp, I'm wondering if that might be it..
Is it true that the coolant temp sensor can cause this?
If so, where is it located?
My car is an 86 if it makes any difference on that one.
Any other suggestions?

You are talking like engine temp right? That sensor is located on the front driver's side of the intake manifold I believe.
