adjusting lifters with feeler guage?
Can you adjust the lifters on a 2.8 camaro with the a feeler guage? IF so what would be the correct guage to use and how would you do it? Thanks.

Nope, they are hydraulic, so you have to set it to 0 lash and just a little preload on the lifters. Any kind of gap will give you a ticking noise.

I read a few post and it saids this
The engine must be on the No. 1 firing position before proceeding. This may be determined by placing your fingers on the No. 1 rocker arms as the mark crankshaft damper is rotated towards the "0'' on the timing tab. If the arms did not move, it is in the No. 1 firing position. If they did move, turn the crankshaft one full revolution to reach the No. 1 position. Remember, the mark on the crankshaft balancer must be aligned with the "0'' on the timing tab.
Adjust the valves as follows:
V6 ENGINES
With the engine on the number 1 firing position, exhaust valves 1, 2 and 3 and intake valves 1, 5 and 6 may be adjusted. Back out the adjusting nut until lash is felt at the pushrod. Tighten the adjusting nut until all lash is removed, then tighten the nut an additional 11/2 turns to center the lifter plunger. Turn the engine one revolution until the "0'' timing mark is once again aligned. Exhaust valves 4, 5 and 6 and intake valves 2, 3 and 4 may be adjusted.
Zero lash is felt on a pushrod when the valve is closed, and the rocker nut is loose (or off). Start tightening the rocker nut as you jiggle the pushrod up and down. If there's play in the pushrod, you'll feel it "tap" against the rocker arm (upward motion) and tap against the lifter. Once that pushrod won't jiggle up/down anymore, you're at zero lash. Another way to find zero lash is by lightly spinning the pushrod- at zero lash, the pushrod will stop spinning since it's sandwiched between the rocker arm and lifter top- but this isn't too hot of a method- say you've got a heavier grip on the pushrod than I would, you might spin the pushrod for longer, and go past zero lash.
I did just like it says and everything seems to be ok.
I bought some injectors from you and I have a question. How do I remove that little cap on the end without breaking it? I need to take it off the ones I have and replace the ones on the set I got from you. Can i buy those at the parts store and would that be better?
