backfireing and missing

lately my car has been back firing and missing really bad, so far i've replaced the fuel filter, rotar, dist. cap, plugs and wires, air filters, sea foam in gas tank, i replaced the maf sensor a few months ago, and fixed problems i use to have but code stayed on, and still reads code, but i beleive the maf is still good, what else could it be?
