Starting problems
Starting problems
My car cranks for a very long time and wont start. I replaced the distributor and coil and it started right up, but when i got back from a test drive it did the same thing. I checked fuel pressure and I got about 45 which is ok, and about 35 with engine running. I don't know what else could cause my car not to start, battery is fine and so are the cables. I haven't got around to check compression because i don't have a compression tester, but what else could cause a car to crank and not start? Could it be something like a coolant temp sensor??? Where is that located by the way? I got spark and fuel, so besides compression, would else could cause a no start????
