I have a 92 firebird with a 3.1 in it, keep getting a code 43 and idles rough, and sometimes dies when it comes to a stop. replaced the ignition moduel and fixed the problem for about two weeks then it came back. i sometimes smell gas i checked all my lines and there are no leaks. any advice would help. And another problem just started not related to that my head lights started to come up when i turn on the parking lights and they use to stay down.

 

Code 43 is the knock sensor. Check it, and its wiring for opens or shorts.
