CArbon canister?
what does the carbon canister do and would it add or reduce power? thanks

It recycles fuel vapors from the gas tank, it's pollution equipment. Doesn't really help or hurt power at all.

I took out mine just to clean up the engine bay abit. If you got it out plug the fuel vapor line going to it and get a ventable gas cap.
