There stuff in my door jam, but i think thats about max capacities.

(than again its an 88, with the ground effects, power rear hatch (lifts up too)
power windows, automatic...)

Closer to the 3,500lbs neighborhood, I would think.

Re: weight of car

V6 cars range from about 3050-3300 range based on options. The firebirds are traditionally a little heavier than the Camaros with generally nicer but heavier options and interior. The V8 GTA's fully loads are heavy at about 3800-3900 range.

If you are an auto Camaro V6, you are probably real close to about 3200.

i have an 88 camaro w/ a T5 trans. i have removed the AIR pump, spare tire and jack, EGR, not equipped w/ A/C, not really any options at all, and my car weighed in at the track at about 3150lbs.

Re: weight of car

One would assume that is without the speaker box and all the heavier stereo equipment?

you would also be amazed how far off track scales can be. Even rolling off them and back on 1 inch to the left or right can vary 100+ lbs. I have actually machined my own scale grid for our race team becasue of this very reason. track scales arre notoriously inacurrate.

I thought the sticker was max GVW? This means how much it would weigh with maximum capacity in it.

Nice mill . Got a Kitamura (My Center 2) with a Fanuc controller, Lagoon single line CNC, and a bridgeport manual. We also have a Mori-Seiki lathe with Fanuc.
