No power, fuse block?

Hello,

I know this is sad to ask but where is the fuse block on an 84 Camaro?
I need to get the Haynes manual and the owners manual.

I am having an intermittent issue....most of the time the car will start up fine and has full power to everything. But sometimes everything will be totally dead: no lights, no radio, no start, nothing even though the battery has power. I'm not sure how it could be a fuse because it is intermittent. Has anyone had this problem?

Thanks

Re: No power, fuse block?

Its under the dash on the drivers side on my 89. I would check out the battery connections to see if there is any corrosion on the battery or ground. My mom's Tahoe was doing the same thing. It wouldn't hurt to take it to a parts store to get the battery tested. Its free and it could be the problem.

Thanks, I played around with the fuse block and battery and ground cables and power came back on. Must be a lose wire somewhere.

Check and re-check your main ground wire where it hooks to your battery and the engine. Clean all of those connections and tighten. Then make sure your ground between the body and the engine is good. It's usually between the back of one of the heads and the firewall.
