Shocks
Hey guys what are the best shocks out there for our cars? Do having shocks make a huge difference on everyday driving? Example, going over a pothole, will a good shock absorber make it any more comfortable going over that pothole? Thanks.

Re: Shocks
I think springs and shocks together will make it nicer, depending on what you think nicer is. If you want performance your ride typically is harsher than a soft riding Buick...

Re: Shocks
Bilstein shocks/struts are pretty good. I have a set on the rear of my car and am very happy with them. Alot of the shuddering I got on the roads around here went away.

Re: Shocks
define best. shocks make a huge difference in how a car works. they prevent the springs from bottoming out under compression(when you go over a bump). since your talking about a camaro/firebird, which is a sports car, aftermarket shocks will probably be stiffer, so potholes will probably be worse, but you'll have a stiffer, more connected feel with the road. kinda like a go kart.
