Where To Put External Aftermarket Temp Guage
Is there anyone that can tell me where to hook up an aftermarket temperature gauge.
I have heard that the hole/plug is on the heads, but does anyone have a picture of exactly? I am pretty confused and would like to NOT pay a mechanic, is there anywhere you all can point me to show me where?
THANKS!

Mine is in the threaded plug on the left side of the block. There's a square-headed plug there. It's right over top a water jacket, so you get a pretty clear indicator of the temperature in the block.

Can't get any pictures until later tonight, so I'll attempt to describe...
Look on the side of your engine block, almost dead center. There's a square-headed bolt threaded into the block right there. Should be one on each side in the same place. They are covering a water jacket. Unscrew it, put your temp probe in there.
