v6 spec info please 89 grandprix 3.1 dis?
hi guys ive seen this real cheap project 1989 grand prix 4 door it has a 3.1 i was wondering if you would know if its dis or not?? for future engine works????? cheers anthony

Yes, all genII and genIII 660s are DIS. This is all FWD 660s from 1987 and up. There is the exception of the early '90s Transport minivan, that used a genI design, and dizzy.

another quicky, does the dis system work the same as the rear drive 3.4's- sensor in block or is there an external sensor and wheel? are all dis systems the same????? thanks again

thanks firsty, just waiting for an email to see if the car is actually drivable or not sounds like it is but just to be sure, ive only got to get it 100miles which aint too bad......
