code 22 and 34 why? I just changed the thermostat

What in the hell is going on!! All I did was change the thermo and now it idles at 2000rpms and when I try to give it gas it cuts out and stalls. I had to take the upper intake off to remove the thermo. This is what I did.
Remove UI, unhook vacume lines at back and at TB, unhooked sensors on TB, remove the tube from the the map and TB. I didn't force anything or break anything.

I've read what the codes are but that doesn't mean anything to me. I've got a tester but hell if I know how to use it. I guess I can learn.

I noticed that where the vacume lines plug into the TB there was a piece of rubber stuck in one of the holes so I removed it and installed everything and this is what's going on. It ran fine before I did anything. Something doesn't make since.

What simple thing can I try to resolve this?

also, I've pulled the intake apart a dozen times or so and never did it do this.

Well code 22 is for your TPS and code 34 is your MAF. I would check those things.

I checked the tps plug and one of the pins where pushed back and not touching the sensor. I pulled it up and it's working fine.

Make sure you've got everything connected firmly, the original connectors get brittle with age. You're sure you have everything hooked up the way it was?
