Fuel Line / Rail and CSI O Ring Sizes?

Does anyone know the correct size O-Rings that are used on the 2 fuel lines going into the fuel rail and the CSI O-Ring size by chance ? These clowns at the auto parts stores these days will give you the wrong thing alot around here or have no idea . Due to our wierd winter climates I still use the CSI so blocking it off isnt really an option at present.

This was for the 86 Camaro RS I'm playing with
Any info graciously accepted

Re: Fuel Line / Rail and CSI O Ring Sizes?

I hunted high and low for a CSI o-ring a few years ago and couldn't find one anywhere! It's some strange size that nobody makes! Every ring I came up with was either too small, too large, or the wrong diameter. I even tried looking for a new cold start injector, figuring it would come with an O-ring- but nobody had one; it's been discontinued! So I had to re-use my old O-ring, and then I pulled a CSI out of a junked car as a backup.

As for the rail o-rings, I've never had mine apart, but I've seen at auto stores, in the "Help" section, where they do sell packs of the red fuel-resistant o-rings... and "real" auto parts stores (not chain stores) usually have a box of o-rings behind the counter- if you bring your old o-ring in, they can match it up. You can find those boxes-of-rings on ebay and at swap meets too.

Oh and none of those boxes-of-o-rings had the CSI ring in them.

Here's the part information for the cold start injector for the 2.8 V6. Both the pipe and o-rings. Their still available from AC Delco. The cold start injector is one of the most underappreciated parts on the whole car. It's what makes these cars such great cold weather starters.

There is a fuel rail o-ring set that includes all of the above o-rings, INCLUDING that hard-to-find CSI o-ring. I don't have the part number, but if you look for it at partsamerica.com, you'll find it.
