Car: 1987 Camaro
Engine: 3.4 Liter
Transmission: 5 speed
Axle/Gears: stock
Switching to Automatic
As I was driving to work today I was thikning I want to switch out my T5 and go with an automatic. I was wondering what are my basic options and what would I need to change out?

Reverse of going to stick, I'd say. Read the T5 swap guide to get a good idea. As far as finding parts: find anyone on this forum and I'm sure they'd love to do a straight trade with you.

I have everything you need for the swap, including some things you might not need, sitting in my garage. The only drawback is that the trans has little TCC control, which will need to be fixed before you can use it (I'm sure you don't want to be going down the road at 70 running 3k, now do you?), other than the fact that it's in NY, and will cost a lot for shipping.

are the PCM's the same? Not sure if the PCM's need to be swapped....
