I tried the search and no luck. So what I want to know is where are all the grounds for a stock 2.8? I know of one that goes on the alt and on the starter, on the bottom of the engine and on the back of the heads. Somebody said something about one going on the smog pump? I ask this because I just did a swap and the battery I got from a friend got kinda hot within 2 mins, as well as the posi and neg cables. Would a bad battery do this? Thanks for any help.
