Fuel gauge is screwed...HELP!!!

OK...here's the situation. I was coming home and the State was doing some roadwork. I hit this hellacious speedbump and I fet hte car was going to break in half. I noticed a minute later that the fuel gauge was all the way to the right and not working. The thing is that all the other gauges are working on that side of the cluster and the right side of the cluster is fine too. Just the fuel gauge is out! I looked on back at the fuel pump connector ( right behind the rear seat under the car) and it seemed good. It still had the factory tab that holds the connector in place. I can;t see it being the cluster if everything is working. I don't think I have a fuse for that as a single gauge either. WHAT can I do!
