Something I noticed at the yard today

While waiting on a friend to pull a part. I was inspecting an s10 blazer 4x4 with a 2.8 engine.

I noticed the oil filter mount points the filter directly out. No hugging the blocking. Would make it easier for filter removal. Dunno if it would clear the headers or not. Just trying to pass some info along if anyone wants to try it.

Yep, I remember those filters. I had an '86 S10 Blazer 4x4 and I regret selling it. I loved that truck.

Pretty sure it'd hit the y-pipe on a car with stock manifolds. Don't know about headers.

Might be useful if someone plans to try using s-10 headers.
