English, please?
I think you're asking if the tach can be off? I have no idea what the second part means.

Re: lost of ????
Can it be taken off and what's the price of a new one? Maybe?
You can replace it with an old one, you can't buy them new I'm pretty sure. From what I've read 3rd gen tachs are famous for the tachs going out. You can get an aftermarket one and just attach it to the dash. I may do that, but I'll sure as **** hide it under the dash, so people don't think I'm trying to race 24/7
The space to the right of the gauges (above the center console) is perfect to attach it, as it's inset and out of the way, while still in good view.

Re: lost of ????
Mine idles at 2K, and pins the needle all the way down anything over where I'm assuming 3K is. My guess is it's pretty much multiplying it by 2 or so.
Sucks, as I just got the car 2 months ago and I'm still getting used to how it runs. I like to shift down into 2nd at times, and with it being auto I have to really work hard at feeling the engine, as I don't want to destroy it and it's hard to tell what RPM's it's at. In my Beretta I had it down pat, of course I drove that thing for 4 or so years.
