woot all is looking good to run down at e-town tonight im getting a bigger set of injectors and will be installing them at the track to make some runs.
im pretty sure the fuel side of my tune is now dialed in. and im going to lock the total ign timing under boost to 15-16* again maybe i might push it to 20* depending on how fast the car runs

so what do u guys think ill get out of her this time

last time out was 14.0@98.79 @ 6psi with the weak launch and lift at the end

my guesses are as follows

13.4@ 106 with 6psi on a good run
and
12.7@112 ish @ 12ish psi maybe better since the turbo will be right in its sweet spot at this psi level

make some guesses guys ill post up videos late tonight when i get back from the track

well the first 1 or 2 passes will be on 6psi,after that im going right to 12 psi car should go into the 12's on 12 psi

lmao naw shes got it down now,she has strict instructions to not lift till 100 ft past the finish line .so now if she can nail the launch were all good though i think im going to be driving tom depending on who is doing the tech inspections

depends on what time they get there,we have to be out of the track by 9pm so i can sit and wait till if they get there at 630.

Out of curiosity, why are you having someone else drive the car, who is obviously not nearly as comfortable with it, instead of yourself? If I were building a big turbo thirdgen, I'd be extremely hesitant to let anyone but myself drive it, especially on the track.

im finishing up the car now, just removed front swaybar and a few other suspension tweaks now done

 

wohoo i just redid the rear brakes and now the car can launch under boost its gonna be one hell of a night thats for sure.

Track was pretty dead tonight, everybody was anticipating thunderstorms. Started raining early, and I just gave up waiting around for it to clear....

 

well i may be selling the turbo setup/w heads since thats what makes this combo what it is. she made one pass 14.5@ 99mph on the top end of the track we saw a huge puff of white smoke.get the car back in the pits and water is pouring out the back of the block. if its not a busted freeze plug but a cracked block im just going to sell t he stuff off and build my boosted ls1 motor i had planned to swap into the car

u know i just relized how lucky she was to not get in a very serious wreck last ngiht,she was out of the throttle when it blew it looks like and was prolly over 100mph when it went. had that water ended up under the tires who knows what would have happened.

i seriously dont think i will be putting her behind the wheel of the car anymore till the rollcage is installed,we all know what a 3rdgen car looks liek when they crash at 60 mph let alone 100+

 

Yeah, anytime after Tuesday, I'm off Wednesday through Sunday. Only, I am NOT driving there with the LS1 though, unless I get the sticker before then....
