so as im driving my car jerks ridiculously on the highway.

im talking full fledge.

it sputters in every gear when i reach apprx 3k on the rpm. (sometimes earlier)

The RPM's go haywire (7k to 2k back to 6) i cant drive this thing anymore

i dont know whats wrong with it.

ive checked all the sensors, change all of them just to be certain.

ill be driving and it will be fine for a few minutes then ill hit 3k and boom it stars jerking i hear the engine rattling (like when u **** into 5th from 1st) and a bit of grinding.

is my transmission going bad?

its 88 rs V6 MPFI T5

 

plug wires/plugs maybe ign module and pickup coil.id try the plug wires first though.

if u have a plug wire arching out it will make the car run like total crap+ the tach will bounce all over the place

 

You may have a vacuum leak and also check the fuel pressure, maybe the fuel filter might be pluged, fuel pump dying or the fuel pump relay might be bad.

 

i had a friend that had a dizzy that was going to poop, replaced that and it ran great

 

what codes you getting, and how old is your clutch setup?
