help..in need of v6 assistance
alright... i have a 1990 firebird with a 3.1l v6 and automatic transmission...im not new to firebirds just the v6 and ive already been through a couple times and seen what you can do ive read up on the injector swaps from 3.8l's and such but are there any others i could do like that....being a teenager im looking for the cheapest way to get some power along with getting the satisfaction of saying that i did everything myself... im pretty handy when it comes to anything so if it takes a little work im fine with that...im just in need of assistance i could use any and all help
Re: help..in need of v6 assistance
a new induction setup will help bring more air into the car, helping it perform better...also, look for any aftermarket exhaust...anything flows better than the stamped pipe that came from the factory...
its all relatively cheap...just depends on your budget...

I always liked hood scoops...but I always dreaded people asking me to pop my hood and seeing a V6 under a hood scoop
IMHO...I think that if you have a hood scoop...you should need it. But its not my car...it does look cool...you like it, go for it.
