spark plug wires

my car has been running kinda crapey latly it kinda feels like one cilender is missing so i took a look this morning at my plugs and wires and i notised that i could see sparks but only thay were inside the wire and was wondering if that sould be a problem also i changed the plugs and thay were a little white on the electrode, oh and one more thing my gas guage stopped working it was at 3/4 tank last night and as i left for work it went to full and stayed there eney ideas would help thanks

Get new spark plug wires. All of them. Don't skimp. A good set is about $80. Don't bother with the cheap $30 sets.

Sounds like your fuel sender unit is going out. It's attached to the fuel pump, which is in the tank.

ok well changed the wires and well its fixed thanks its good when all it is is something simple thanks oh and the guage is working but i still thing its going out
