High Valve v6's

Out of curiosity, what other 60 degree v6's will fit a third gen? I have an 89 bird. The 3x00 series in particular. Would something newer like the LZ9 fit without too many issues? They would bolt right up to the tranny correct? Here's the wiki on these engines: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_High_Value_engine

Sorry if its a stupid question.

Re: High Valve v6's

its kind of a bitch to put a FWD engine, like a LZ9, into a 20 year old RWD sports car. I'm pretty sure the tranny bolts up, but then there are things like starter and engine mounts. FWD and RWD engines mount completely differently.
the money spent on buying one of these engines could build a mean v8 or build a powerful, turbo 2.8/3.1. a lot of people put the 3.4 into their camaros. these engines can be found in 93-95 camaros. they bolt in, but they're also completely cast iron. its a stroked and bored 2.8.
