Replacement fan question.Anybody?

My fan "housing" is warped/not round. The fan will not spin because it hits this"housing"that bolts to the fan shroud.I would like to get a replacement one.GM is way to expensive. And the housing is discontinued. They only have the fan blades and fan motor.Does anyone have one for sale?or does anyone know of another GM car that uses the same fan and housing?I dont think theres any in the V6 Camaro/ Firebirds at the yards near me.Or should i heat this one up and try and fix it?Its a single fan not a double.

Check to see if your radiator support is bent. Mine did the same thing due to bad jack placement and I trimmed the fan blade so that it works...

Oh, and any 3rd gen with a single fan has the same shroud. The upper radiator support is not a shroud...

Fan housing is warped? Forget about it!! Just order a replacing fan. "Hayden" is a good inexpensive replacement. Go to summit website. Just bought a nice one that runs $150 and it uses the straps that run through the radiator. Good deal and more effective for cooling.
