As with most things, it all depends on the engine in question. There are a lot of people that say that the 2.8/3.1 can do a 100 shot up and down the road everyday...I am a little more cautious. In my mind things like mileage, regular maintenance, leaks, and how the engine runs all serve as factors as to how the engine will hold up to the abuse. If it is a high mileage engine, has had lacking maintenance, leaks anything, or the engine doesn't run really good...things could go very bad.
Probably people going to come in an tell you "everything will be peachy...slap it on and have more HP"...Just some things to think about.
