Refilling the block..
I just flushed my 3.1's radiator and block cause it was "burping" antifreeze back in the reserve tank when the engine turned itself off(thinkin tstat was sticking closed and it had air). Now I am gettin a paper gasket(that wasn't on there to begin with) and puttin it all back together, does it make any difference by putting antifreeze in the block and then the radiator, then topping off(with the heater on)?

Not exactly sure what youre getting at by saying "the engine turned itself off". So Im guessing youre saying, the cooling system was flushed (how was it flushed, drain and fill?), give more details on the procedure that happened, and we can help more on this issue. and what do you mean by "the engine turned itself off", that has me at a total loss.

Literally it turned off on its own..maybe a clogged filter..only reading 32 on a pressure gauge, thought maybe it got overheated, didnt run long enough for the fan to come on.I was checking for an oil leak, when it turned off after about 10 minutes with the key still in the on position, had not drained the coolant at all at that time.Thats when I decided it was probably tstat sticking and overheating.

Ay time that you are pushing fluid into the res. tank, you are either too hot and causing too much pressure in the system, or you have a bad cap. Since you have just refilled the system, I would suggest replacing the radiator cap as well, cheap insurane against another overheat problem, especially with the summer here.
