hey iam new to the site its great and full of info but here is whats goin on i have a 91 camaro rs 3.1 i was runnin around all day then took off and just shut down towed it back home started trouble shooting and it will run good wile its cold but when it warms up injectors shut down i replaced fuel pump switched ignition module replaced a injector that had low ohms still nothin took to a shop they said you need a new computer so got that still nothing does any body have any more suggestions before i go crazy thank you

First off man im sry you fell for the "new computer line"...mechanics LOVE to use that one to ppl cause they know ppl are scared of car computers...so im sry for that one....but make sure you have a good tune up first(do it yourself!)...

Then if i had to guess i would say that your coolant temp sensor is bad...if the car thinks the motor is over heating it will shut off injector flow so you dont blow the thing up. That would be my first guess...check that out after a tune up and we will go from there.

 

it has a fresh tune up cap rotor plugs wires oil filter fuel filter so on but funny thang is i honestly dont think the shop even hooked up a scanner becouse i took it to my shop today my mechanic hooked it up and first thang that came up was some thing to do with the pick up coil so pulled it and in the process of putting it in i had it 180 degrees off so i said the hell with it and went home ill keep you posted
