Sorry, couldn't read the whole thread, not enough time.

But at work, if I got one of these running rough after it warms up, I would check the Ignition Control Module and the Pickup Coil, Ignition Coil, check EGR valve operation, clogs in the EGR tube, fuel pressure regulator, and oxygen sensor/wiring. I think you've maybe gone a bit far already and need to get back to some of the basics you may have overlooked. Has happened to me on more than one occasion while at home with limited resources (I live in an apartment).

FUNTION TEST THEM, don't just replace them. I've had bad ICM's, bad coils (pickup AND ignition), and bad EGR's, brand new out of the box, more times than I can count at work, and also once each at home (except the EGR). Each one of those instances had me pulling my hair out assuming the part couldn't be the problem because "it was new".

I no longer buy parts to test function unless it is necessary, now I just wait a day and bring the tools home to check it out properly. LOL

 

I have a 91 RS with a 3.1L V6. Fires up and idles fine but I get a strong fuel smell and it stalls when accelerating any ideas?
