Injector Question

Alright I just got my camaro and I was wondering where are the injectors on this multi port setup. I'm used to dealing with carbureted stuff so this is new to me. Thanks.

Re: Injector Question

they are located on a rail that runs under the upper intake. The upper intake is what your throttle body bolts to.

Re: Injector Question

yes remove just the upper intake, the lower does not need to come off, after you move it out of the way, you will see an aluminum log type rail with the injectors coming off of it. This is held on by 2 bolts. I just did an injector swap over the weekend. See "ford injector swap".

Re: Injector Question

Is there a way to clean the injectors by soaking them in cleaner or something?

Re: Injector Question

Well i have an old ultrasonic jewelry cleaner i use. I just give them a bath in mineral spirits while the ultrasonic is on and use a 5v transformer to cycle them while they are in it.
