Axle/Gears: 10 open 3.42
BELT HELP

I have a 1992 pontaic 3.1 i took out the A.I.R system and put i deletion pulley there and today i was driving and heard a loud and banging like i ran over something. the AIR deletion pulley cracked and broke under the stress so does anyone know of a smaller belt i can run because i can't afford a other pulley and i need my car

Try this one
Dayco Serpentine Belt

Part No.</B> 5060923 . It is for my 2.8 without air pump . Also this is if you have A/C . If not you will need a shorter belt .

if push come to shove, wrap a string around the pulleys as the belt would be routed. mark it, remove and measure (subtract an inch or so to give the tensioner something to put tension on). go to the parts store and tell them you need a serp. belt xx inches long. Might take some persuading with todays parts store people. but, they can find it!!

Advance Auto: Drive-Rite 915K6 for A/C systems, 815K6 for cars without... These are non-AIR belts... Delete all your AIR brackets as well as that junk pulley to save weight.
