Low Oil Prssure
So I am out for a drive yesterday and I notice my oil pressure down to almost nothing at stop lights/signs. It usually goes down but not that far and then when I get back on the gas it goes up to the mid way point. So I jump on the Highway and the gauge wont climb above 20PSI.
What could be causing this? Is it and easy fix that I can do myself?
Thanks Steve

Re: Low Oil Prssure
Check the oil pressure sender by the oil filter... Has either 2 or 3 wires. If your oil pressure was actually that low, your engine would be knocking at idle. It could also be a worn out factory gauge.

Resistance-type gauges are tested using a special box with 3 different adjustable resistors inside, which I doubt you have. You could go to a dealer or someplace to have it tested, but it won't be cheap.
