Busted LC1 to swap with LB8

Hi guys, I wanted to know some things when I'll swap them.

Before I start, let me give you the specs:
1984 Camaro (Berlinetta?)
2.8L LC1 engine with carb
400 transmission

That engine is busted through. I'm going to pick the car and the engine mentioned below:
2.8L LB8 TPI engine

Now, I wanted to know something:
I'd assume they're bolt-on fit, but could I swap out the TPI module and dump the carb back on the LB8?

Here's the bad boy:

It needs some work, but the frame/floor is in really good shape. Bodywise, a new paint and a right fender will do it. Inside, I just need the roof. T-Tops aren't leaking, Gragar mags, Momo steering wheel...and more...all for 900 bucks.

After all that, that car should consume less than my 97 Bonneville right here:

Thanks for your help!

Re: Busted LC1 to swap with LB8

I got an update that the LB8`s intake won't fit because the gasket apparently isn't the same.
I've called two scrap yards, and they are saying that they WILL fit.

Err...what?

So once again, can I swap all of the LC1 carb parts and put them on the LB8 engine?

LC1 is 1980-1984 2.8 V6
LB8 is 1985-1989(Or 1990?)
