the car will do a short stall where all the power is cut for about 1/2 a sec then start up again and continue this three or four times in a row... and it only occurs when i push the accelerator pedal about half way down. I have been told it could be the injectors but i really dont know... could anyone post their thoughts on this issue plz. Thanx

 

have you changed the fuel filter?

 

yeah the whole fuel system was just replaced short of the fuel rail and injectors. it has a new filter pump and sending unit.

 

get an ohm meter and check the resistance on the injectors. Should be at least 12ohm or more.

 

Will the car drive at all? Or does it just keep stalling out?

 

it drives but you can only depress the pedal to about halfway before it will stall out...

 

Check the catalytic convertor, it might be clogged up (the catalyst bed breaks up over the years, and can clog the exhaust)
