Looking to sell the 89 firebird i have. or trade it. Im a college student and i need the money i spend on insurance,gas and repairs for other things. I have an suv as my first car. How much would you think I could get for it?

Please give me some feedback.

 

Sell the SUV and keep the car. Unless you live in a place where the weather is bad during the winter (I'm talking a LOT of snow). I guarantee that the SUV costs you more in gas unless there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with the car, and I'll bet the insurance is slightly higher as well.

how much you would get for the car depends on the condition of it, but it still won't be much, not having a V8 and all, and also where you live.

 

Pics? Maybe a better descriotion of the car and its current condition? I'm guessing it's a smaller SUV like a Blazer, or Bronco II?

 

Depends on the area. For me locally, I've seen GTAs sell for between $750 and $1300 for poor examples and about $4000 for good ones. A

 

At this point im not gonna get the money i want for the firebird. What I am going to try to do is find some private property to keep it on so I dont have to keep paying insurance on it. The expenses for the car are just not sound for me right now. So my best bet I believe is to wait until im done with college (3 years) and then i can dump money into it.

My suv is a 97 pathfinder. 145,000 miles. this is my daily driver.
