i have a 91 camaro with a 3.1 engine and and a li'l over a month ago my radiator fan gave out and my car overheated to the max!! I already fixed my fan but now the car has a sever case of piston slap and there is a big differance in the acceleration!! it feels like it lost half of its horsepower so i think its time for a new engine.....

any suggestion on a good-power v6, one that will hopefully accept a nice turbocharger, and a trans to compliment it? my car is automatic btw....

read up on the forums there is plenty info on hybrid swaps nd turbo setups for 60* motors.

 

There are a bunch of threads stickied at the top that will be of great use to you. After reading those thoroughly then proceed to ask questions.
