to those with Pacesetter headers
So I put on my headers on my car the other day...last nite I was finishing up some work under the car and noticed that the passenger side header 3 bolt flange is resting on the tranny bellhousing. I did have mine modified a bit...but I find it odd that it would be resting on the tranny. Is that flange typically close?
Makes me wonder if the header is 100% sealed on the head...

Re: to those with Pacesetter headers
Haven't had that problem - although I do have a T5.
You probably did the same thing, but on my install, I bolted the two manifold pieces up tight, then put on the Y-pipe (had to use a slight bit of leverage to line up, but it worked).
Other than replacing a gasket last year, no problems.

I also have a T-5 but I cant say I ran into that either. Id try what GTA50 and I both did, bolt the headers on tight, then put the Y-pipe on.
