V6 exhaust systems

So i know there is the exhaust forum bit in here, but i figure that more of the V6 buffs hang around here so i decided to ask here. Im wondering what is the best sounding, best performing exhaust systems you guys have tried or are using. Of course this is all matter of opinion but im wondering about things like pipe size, mufflers, i dont need a cat up here in Canada so im good there. I was thinking 2 1/2 inch pipe, of headers, into a couple of Magnaflows, or possibly even Cherry Bombs. Not glass packs, their turbo mufflers.
So any opinions are appreciated, thanks.

Re: V6 exhaust systems

At the moment i have just the magnaflow muffler until i can get the rest of the exhaust and it sounds pretty good nice little rumble to it. With the addition of headers i believe it will enhance the sound along with an overall better exhaust system

Re: V6 exhaust systems

Imo too much of it doesnt have actual clips in it...I thought about more or less quoting each post with an actual link or clip, but hell, my v6 guide hasnt even been stickied...as for exhaust, i have headers, magnaflow cat, and dynomax catback(the cheaper one) and im still working on the engine so i haven't really heard it from the back yet but from what little i have heard of it it sounds good, a lot of v6s sound raspy or rattle, and such, i didnt have any of that even with really high revs, and idle sound is def pretty nice....
ill take a clip if/when I ever get it fricking driveable, gd coolant leak and registration holding me up for 2 days so far

Re: V6 exhaust systems

I HIGHLY recommend the Cherry Bomb Turbo or Cherry Bomb Vortex.
About a month ago I installed a Cherry Bomb Turbo System on my 2.8 Camaro and it sounds amazing. I have 2 1/2" pipes.
Compared to stock exhaust it is like 3 times louder and has a much better sound.
If you want to see a before and after video of the Turbo exhaust check out my youtube video here

Hooker's Supercomp system.

I should be able to get clips fairly soon, i've got another car to finish an engine swap on first though.
