Harmonic Vibration

I have a slightly rough idle, native to the 60 degree v6's, thats nothing to worry about, sit smooths out at 1000-2000 rpms, but at 2100-3000 RPMS I have a strong harmonic vibration, the harmonic dampener is good. i just replaced the fuel pump, which actually took the vibration that was originally starting at 2k and got worse as it got higher. any ideas?

Re: Harmonic Vibration

Just for what it's worth, it's actually 90* V6's that have the rough idle (a shake would be the better way to describe it, the motor fires smoothly), sounds like something else is up. Sorry I don't have anything else to offer
