to find the code on the ecm, drop the passenger foot panel under the dash, and drop the two ecm bolts, its all the way to the right under there. once dropped, find the i believe 10 digit part number and let me know what it is. ignore the 4 digit code. if the ecm isnt supplying signal to your fuel pump and the fuel pump is waiting for the oil pressure switch to activate it then yes. it will. my 88 v8 bird needed a new ecm when it would do just that, not supply a fuel pump request, and once replaced, the car started as it should. as long as you have diagnosed your fuel system properly. then yes this may very well completely fix your problem.

I got one from my dealership for $150 bucks with a $90 core. And the best part about it is that its brand spanking new, not a refurbished unit.
