Gas tank?
simple? Are all the gas tanks on the third gens the same,like the pump hole.I know the 82 had a difrent kind of pump,but would any pump from a injected car work as a replacment?

I have a gas tank from a 84 in my 88, so I would say, yes.
As far as the fuel pump, just buy the proper fuel pump for the car. According to the O'Reilly's website the V6 and V8 pumps are different.
